What the Spice?!

Andhra food has a hot reputation for being super spicy …and yes, it is, but it’s also packed full of flavours which utilise the spices to elevate the dishes to a higher level. There’s definitely more to Andhra food than just the heat and Rayalaseema Ruchulu in Hyderabad, proves that in abundance! Having been in the business for seventeen years, you can be rest assured that you will come away from the restaurant with a happy stomach and a smile on your face.

Although their menu has an exhaustive selection of authentic items from Andhra, Rayalaseema and Telangana; whenever I go there to dine, I always place my standard order – Ragi Sangati with Natu Kodi Pulusu. Ragi Sangati is a tasty and healthy combination of rice cooked with ghee and ragi flour, which is full of calcium and fibre and Naatu Kodi Pulusu is a delicious curry made with country chicken. When you mix these two together, every mouthful tastes heavenly and the mild flavoured rice is complemented perfectly by the piquant chicken curry. This pairing is a wholesome meal in itself and you won’t need to order anything else because it will leave you feeling full and satisfied! Rayalaseema Ruchulu has mastered this well-known duo and is the place to indulge in it, in the city.
