The Big No No’s in the Kitchen!

With everyone cooking or attempting to cook these days, there’s a lot of scope for improvement and doing things better.

Here are a few of the beginner mistakes that we make in the kitchen which deeply impact the end result of the dish and the confidence of the cook.

  1. Planning for time: Often the excitement of trying a new recipe makes us forget how long it will take to source, prep and actually cook the dish.
  2. Wrongly estimating portion size: It’s useful to have an approximation of how many portions the dish makes so that one can scale up or scale down accordingly
  3. Using all your stocked spices in one dish: This overwhelms the ingredients and nothing stands out.
